Just watched Mark Wahlberg's latest movie, 'The Lone Survivor'. Holy fuck I was not expecting to feel such intense feels this early in the day.

In my opinion I think this may finally be a movie that is actually so good that it justifies all the commercials stating 'Best since Saving Private Ryan'.

I shed tears. Great, oppo-fied manly tears. Go see it.

Taylor's Rating: Two kicks to the nuts for those that don't see it. It's THAT good.

Looks like a decent movie (how tasteful was the war depiction? overly-patriotic, deceptively anti-war, or realistic?) but the trailer music made me angry. Worse than Jay-Z's "I can't stop" in Rush. There are a million songs out there about war heroes, and they picked the one that was about lovers kissing across the Berlin wall, not about war at all.

Thankfully, I don't think the music choice is going to actually affect the picture itself. I might have to go see it then, with Oppo's recommendation.

Oh, War depiction was, what I would imagine considering I'm no soldier, realistic as hell. Adrenaline rushing, etc.

That was one of the heaviest movies I've seen in years. I totally understand people calling it the Saving Private Ryan of this war. Captain Philips is a pretty heavy movie as well. Hollywood is getting so good at true stories it's scary.

YES. Hollywood seems to be hiring on the people the story is about to make it as true as possible, and finally just listening to their direction.

How did I spoil any movies? The ending to Lone Survivor is in the title and Captain Phillips was based on a true story that happened almost 4 years ago.

Well that's a shame. But I'm not surprised by that one. That movie should have been more about the Seals than it was in my opinion.

Every preview says based on a true story. I'm sorry you aren't up with the times, yet you're on the Internet. Also what did you expect from a title lone soldier if only one survived.

Things that have been out for years are fair game. How the do you think they could even account for what happened to Captain Phillips if the guy wasn't alive.

The red wedding episode kills off the Stark family GOT and the supreme is Sarah Paulson AHD for a couple of current ones since you're such an incompetent douche. It isn't spoiling if the outcome is the title of the movie or something that actually happened in history. It's not my fault you're a fucking moron and don't know what is happening in the world. Even if I did, I probably wouldn't know the details of the story. Use your brain to figure out that, yes, you did spoil a part of the movies' plots for anyone who read your first comment.
